luis-marquez-_res.jpgGet the Education We Need to Organize

“To rebuild Teamster power, we have to take on the boss at our workplaces, get people involved in their local areas, and build stronger locals. It starts from the ground up, and the TDU Convention is where we can get the tools to become better organizers.”

Luis Marquez, Republic Services, Local 396, Long Beach

The USPS had the same problem years ago. We finally got that written into our contract outlawing subcontracting. Turned out management didn’t care who they were subcontracting out to as long as it was cheaper. Felons and illegal immigrants were delivering mail. The Teamsters have to stop this!
