If you were outraged by the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision, take a deep breath and get ready for the next battle over women’s rights.

A case that will affect millions of working women is on the Supreme Court docket for the term beginning Oct. 6. Young v. United Parcel Service will test the law prohibiting employment discrimination against pregnant women. And it’s anybody’s guess how this court will rule.

UPSers Take Action After the Vote No Telephone Town Hall

More than 5,000 UPS Teamsters participated in a Vote No Telephone Town Hall to discuss the proposed deal, make plans to defeat givebacks and win a better contract.  

UPSers to Vote on Proposed Deal

Officers from every UPS local met today in Chicago and approved sending the national contract out for a membership vote. A national Vote No Telephone Town Hall of UPSers and Teamster officers who oppose the contract will be held on Saturday. Registration closes at 3 pm on Friday.
