What To Do If You Did Not Get A Ballot

October 12, 2011: If you did not get your ballot yet, call the Election Supervisor to request a replacement ballot at 877-317-2011.

Ballots were mailed on Oct. 6. The Election Supervisor is now accepting calls from Teamsters who want a replacement ballot.

If you made a mistake marking your ballot or want to change your vote, call today and request a replacement ballot.

The replacement ballot hotline is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern time during the week and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time on the weekends. You must call during these hours.

You cannot leave a voicemail message. You must speak with a hotline operator directly.

You will be asked for your name, local union and the last four digits of your social security number.

You cannot call on behalf of another Teamster. You can help your fellow Teamsters vote by sending them this information by text—or by calling the replacement ballot hotline and handing your phone to the Teamster who needs a ballot.

Labor Notes: NLRB Attacks Rights of Stewards

"The NLRB announced employers will no longer be restrained from disciplining or discharging stewards or officers who use profanity or engage in other “abusive” actions in violation of an employer’s enforced code of conduct. The decision upends the special legal protections enjoyed by union grievance handlers for the past 70 years."
