January 31, 2012: YRC Inc. is getting out of the next-day delivery business as it continues to shift its focus to being a pure-play long-haul carrier.
The company, the national less-than-truckload division of Overland Park-based YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW), mailed a series of proposed work changes to dozens of International Brotherhood of Teamsters union locals last week. They have to approve the changes, which are likely to mean job cuts.

You guys put Hoffa back in office again. Hoffa doesn`t care about Teamsters at YRC all Hoffa cares about is saving his big pay check till he retires,I as a YRC employee I want my MONEY BACK all Concessions ENDED NOW. I am sick of YRC spending money like WATER Then saying they loss money YRC gave, Big Shots a $80,000.00 bonuses,Took out a Big Loan
for new Trucks and Trailers,a Company having Money Problems where did they get Power to do this and I Hear local YRC Office Employees from Terminal Mangers on down was gave there Money Back,where is mine. we should have elected Sandy Pope not GIVE AWAY HOFFA.
