February 10, 2012: Hoffa has replaced Fred Zuckerman as IBT Carhaul Director with Roy Gross, who is a business agent in Detroit Local 299 and former Allied driver.
July 15, 2011: Carhaulers are voting on a new contract. The future of union carhaul is on the line.
June 14, 2011: Yesterday the officers of carhaul local unions unanimously recommended approval of the tentative agreement for the national contact. It will go into the mail to the members for a vote around July 7.
June 3, 2011: The International Union has announced that they reached a tentative national agreement with the carhaul industry. It would be a 51-month contract, expiring August 31, 2015.
June 1, 2011: The International Union has announced that they reached a tentative national agreement with the carhaul industry. It will be presented to local union leaders on June 13 and then be voted on by a mail ballot of all affected members.
May 20, 2011: The national carhaul contract will expire on May 31, but it is apparent that it will be extended.
