700 UNFI Teamsters in California are organizing to win a contract that delivers wage parity with Southern California Grocery Teamsters and an end to unfair discipline policies.

A bill championed by the Teamsters, the Faster Labor Contracts Act, is headed for a vote in the House of Representatives. If passed, the law will require employers to bargain with organized workers within ten days of their voting to form their union.
