A third-generation Long Island furniture store looking to move away from its union roots means a lot of family fingerpointing — on both sides.

For nearly 50 years, drivers and warehouse workers at Waldner’s Business Environments — which has offices in Manhattan, Westchester and on Long Island — have belonged to Teamsters Local 814.
