July 21, 2009: The following rights are protected by the National Labor Relations Act:

• You have the right to distribute union information, including Teamster Voice and other TDU literature, at work as long as you do it in nonwork areas (break room, parking lot etc.) and at nonwork times (before or after work or during breaks).
• You have the right to post leaflets and information on any general use bulletin boards (such as where members post ads, jokes, raffle notices, etc.) provided by the company. Any rule that exclusively prohibits posting union or TDU information on these bulletin boards is against the law.

If management interferes with these rights, contact Teamsters for a Democratic Union for help enforcing your rights.
