Nearly 8,000 T-Force Teamsters are getting ready to vote on a new five-year contract. The tentative agreement will be put to a membership vote after two officials from every local union that represents T-Force members meet at Teamster headquarters on Monday to review the agreement. Voting will be conducted in-person and organized by local unions.
The International Union posted a summary of highlights including “the highest wage increases in the history of the national contract, protections against subcontracting, a return to work for laid-off workers, pension increases, reduced insurance premiums, language against road drivers working the dock, work preservation, and card-check neutrality.”
The current T-Force contract expires on July 31. This the first Teamster agreement negotiated with TFI Inc, which purchased UPS Freight in April 2021.
