Teamster Voice sat down with Chicago Local 705 Principal Officer Juan Campos to talk about the 2020-2021 Teamster election and the future of our union. Campos is running for IBT Vice President At-Large with Sean O’Brien and Fred Zuckerman on the Teamsters United slate.

TDU members will vote on endorsing candidates for International Union office at the TDU Convention in Chicago, November 1-3. With the 2021 election for General President set to begin, Sean O’Brien will outline his vision and action plans for our union.

Matt Taibi, longtime TDU member and Principal Officer of Rhode Island Local 251, announced today that he will run on the O’Brien–Zuckerman Teamsters United slate in 2021.

Members are preparing for the next Teamster Convention where majority rule on contracts and our right to fair International Union elections will be on the line.
