Bedding Down at the Red Rash Inn
I am a road driver. Some of the places we bed down are ridiculous. I wouldn’t make my dog lay in them. What rights do I have besides grieve and wait? When we find our own rooms, we get threatened with disciplinary actions. Under Article 49 in the contract, it says the company has to pay $40. Why can’t we get some relief?

Yellow Updates Proposed Change of Operations, IBT Maintains Objections
Yellow has filed updated change of operations documents to consolidate Holland and New Penn into Yellow across the Midwest, East and South. Yellow Corporation released its first quarter financials on May 10. The company shows strong improvement but is still not profitable. Yellow’s overall operating ratio of 99.3 percent is 3 percent better than a year ago, but well below other LTL carriers, including ABF and TForce.
Yellow Teamsters to Get 60¢ COLA Raise
Teamsters covered by the 2019 NMFA master contract employed at Yellow, Holland and New Penn will get a $1.00 per hour raise on April 1, which is the sum of a 40¢ contractual raise and a 60¢ COLA raise, pursuant to Article 33, section 4. Road drivers will get a 2.5¢ per mile bump.Read more
