Although Rome Aloise was found guilty on all three counts on October 7, he continues to draw $300,000+ in Teamster salaries as he awaits his sentencing hearing. Now, that sentencing hearing has been postponed from November 12 until December 3.

Teamster members in Cincinnati Local 100 put their support strongly in the reform and ready for change camp. All twelve Stand Up candidates were victorious, defeating the incumbents in a three-way race. This marks another victory for reform minded Teamsters looking to change our union.

Teamsters in Philadelphia Local 623 have overwhelmingly elected Richard Hooker and the #623LivesMatter slate. In a four-way race, Hooker beat the incumbent 547-346. That's a 61% to 39% margin. 

A huge contract victory shows what union reform and rank-and-file organizing can achieve.

Washington Gas utility workers have voted in new leadership in Teamsters Local 96 in Washington, D.C. after a grassroots campaign by the New Beginning Slate.

The US Department of Labor (DOL) has gone into federal court to overturn the Kansas City Local 41 election held last November, and have the DOL conduct a rerun.
