UPS and UPS Freight Teamsters ‘Vote NO’

UPS and UPS Freight Teamsters said NO to bad contracts and YES to organizing for change.

UPS made $4.5 billion last year, and Hoffa and Hall settled short.

UPS and UPS Freight Teamsters refused to follow the script. They organized a nationwide ‘Vote NO’ movement.

UPS Freight Teamsters rejected the contract and UPS Teamsters defeated a record 18 local and regional contracts.

The Vote No movement has already succeeded in defeating some health care cuts, and in getting Teamsters involved in the movement for a stronger union.

“We came very close to turning down the National Contract and we made history by rejecting a record 18 supplements and riders. This shows how powerful we can be when UPS Teamsters organize and stick together.

“We have just two short years until the International Teamsters Convention in 2016 where we will nominate the next General President of our Union. We cannot allow ourselves be put in the situation again where our union gives concessions to a company that is making record profits.”
