I joined Teamsters for a Democratic Union almost as soon as I became a Teamster in 1978. And I’ve been a proud member ever since.

For more than 30 years, TDU has united Teamsters to fight for a stronger union. Together, we won the right to vote and fought for stronger contracts and secure benefits.

We’re in the fight of our lives—and the contracts and benefits we’ve fought for are up for grabs. TDU is still there—uniting members to fight back and training the Teamster leaders of tomorrow.

TDU does it all on a shoestring budget. It’s entirely funded by dues and donations from Teamsters like you and me. Imagine if we got the same bang for our buck from the IBT!
