YRC Worldwide profits rise despite a drop in revenues [1]

Trucking company YRC Worldwide Inc. posted a second-quarter profit despite a 4.6 percent drop in sales from a year ago, when it lost money.

The Overland Park-based company said it earned $26 million, or 80 cents a share, contrasted with a loss of $4.9 million, or 16 cents a share, a year ago.
