Where to Donate: Donate to TDU if you’re an active or retired Teamster. Donate to TRF if you’re not a Teamster or would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our educational and legal defense non-profit sister organization.

Teamsters for a Democratic Union is funded entirely by TDU dues and donations from Teamster members and Teamster retirees.

Non-Teamster supporters can donate to our sister organization, the Teamster Rank and File Education and Legal Defense Foundation (TRF). Funds from non-Teamster donors are not used in union elections or in support of candidates for union office—they support educational and legal defense programs to protect workers’ rights. TRF is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering workers to enforce their legal rights on the job and in the union. All donations to TRF are tax-deductible.

Refunds are returned using the original method of payment and must be requested within 30 days of the donation date.
