Where to Donate: Donate to the TDU Election Fund if you’re a current, dues-paying Teamster. There is a $2,000 limit on your total contributions to all campaigns and to the TDU Election Fund. Donate to TDU if you’re an active or retired Teamster. Donate to TRF if you’re not a Teamster or would like to make a tax-deductible donation to our educational and legal defense non-profit sister organization.
Teamsters for a Democratic Union is funded entirely by TDU dues and donations from Teamster members and Teamster retirees.
Non-Teamster supporters can donate to our sister organization, the Teamster Rank and File Education and Legal Defense Foundation (TRF). Funds from non-Teamster donors are not used in union elections or in support of candidates for union office—they support educational and legal defense programs to protect workers’ rights. TRF is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to educating and empowering workers to enforce their legal rights on the job and in the union. All donations to TRF are tax-deductible.
