Carhaul Tentative Agreement Now Available

The 2022-2025 Carhaul tentative agreement is now available for members to review. You can read a digital version of the tentative agreement here.

Hours before the June 1 deadline, the Carhaul National Negotiating Committee reached a tentative agreement with Carhaul employers under the National Automobile Transporters Industry Agreement.

The tentative agreement was reviewed at a June 16 "2-man" meeting in Washington. Two representatives from each local union representing Teamsters in the Carhaul industry unanimously agreed to approve the contract.

The tentative agreement will now be mailed to the membership for a vote. The vote will be by majority rule. Locals are asked to hold meetings where Carhaul Teamsters can get info and discuss the agreement.

Ballots will mail on June 26 and the count will be held on July 12.

The NMATA covers more than 3,000 members at 29 Teamster locals nationwide.
