April 10, 2012: YRC Freight implemented two changes of operations over the April 7 weekend, reconfiguring its terminal network to speed freight and reduce handling. March 22, 2012: James Welch received almost $2 million in direct compensation during his first five months as the new CEO of YRC Worldwide Inc., according to the company’s annual proxy statement. The statement, filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, showed that Welch received a salary of $305,128 and stock valued by the company at $1.6 million on the date it was granted.
