UPS 2nd Quarter Profits: $1.1 Billion

July 24, 2012: Headed into contract negotiations, UPS continues to make big profits, especially in the package and freight divisions where Teamster members work.  Today UPS announced that it made $1.12 billion in profits after taxes for the 2nd Quarter on $13.35 billion in revenue. IBT Issues Interpretations of YRCW Concession Agreement

Will Local 700 Members Say No to a Coli Takeover?

July 13, 2012: The International Union has sent out a notice to Local Unions asking them to gather proposals from their memberships to prepare for bargaining with UPS and UPS Freight. UPS Freight: Settlement Talks in the Works on Subcontracting?
