Featured Speaker: Richard Hooker, Principal Officer of Philadelphia Local 623

After organizing members to reject givebacks, Richard Hooker and the #623LivesMatter movement beat long-time incumbent officials. Richard is first African-American Teamster to lead the 4,500-member local union of UPS workers in Philadelphia. “We’re about a labor movement that fights for the members and for all working people,” says Hooker.

Plus special guest Ken Paff, TDU National Organizer

This event is co-sponsored by the NYC DSA Labor Branch and Labor Notes.

(Funds from non-Teamster donors are not used in union election campaigns—they support educational and legal programs to protect workers' rights).
