Eventually everyone..regardless of stature or rank as officer ..ends up “under the bus”.
This is standard for hierarchy in a criminal enterprise!
Have you ever finished reading the P.O. ‘s column in your IBT Magazine & wondered where has this guy been 1\2 my TEAMSTER career serious..Hoffa or his ghost writer is more on target than ANY Politician of eighter political party.
Yet so little translates to Policy or objectives. We know politicians will take our $$ and betray us with decisions counter to the success of our families & futures.
At least O’Brien sees the NEON on the wall & has taken a irreversible position.
HOFFA’s career is VERY much a carbon copy of Roy Williams & is on track to have a similar finish.
All that remains is for the pre-court declaration in wheel chair ,with oxygen nose tubes.." I never made a decision for the members..that I didn’t consider my handlers first"

Amen! Finally someone with some balls to come out and tell it how it is! Unfortunately you didnt put out a letter stating the same before the last election, Local 25 vote went to Hoffa! That said, we can only hope you get a chance to negotiate the YRC contract next year and show some of the same determination in getting a strong contract for our members…You’ve got my vote of confidence brother!!

Tradeshow\CONVENTIONS has suffered this level of concessions & disservice from day 1 of HOFFA’S tenure in office ( remember HOFFA\Hogan)
    At local #631.
The end result when coupled with Right to Work is a Craft divided ( freight vs. Install\Dismantle & Decorating ) Leaving ALL but the Anointed in at AT WILL state of employment in a RIGHT to RACKETEERING state.
All employment favors the Corporation that doles out Plumb work Assignments to the locals family\friends .
You have labor agreements that are first\last, strike all in 1 package signed by grossly uninformed members.
The locals regime does just fine with Rampant tribal NEPOTISM a
LETHAL to COLLECTIVE BARGAINING Corporation ploy that keeps us WEAK DIVIDED and resentful of the Officers that facilitate and profit by it!!

Central States Pension: Latest Financial Report

The Central States Pension Fund ended the first quarter of 2018 with assets of $14.8 billion, a loss of $172 million for the quarter ending March 31, 2018. However, the loss would have been much worse except for a one-time payment of $467 million by the Kroger Corporation; this was a lump sum payment to pull all Kroger and some Kroger-contractor employees out of the pension fund permanently.
