Western PA UPSers to Vote on Supplement

Teamsters working for UPS in Western Pennsylvania will vote for the third time this weekend on their supplemental agreement.

The supplement covers Teamster locals 30, 110, 249, 261, 397, 491, 538, 585, and 926.

A copy of the tentative agreement is here.

Votes are to be conducted in union halls or rented facilities over the weekend of April 6-7.

Members voted down the supplement decisively in the previous two ballots. The second rejection—96% No—was encouraged by the local unions, after UPS management reduced its offer regarding pension contributions.

Teamsters are encouraging co-workers to be sure to make time to review the supplement terms and to get out to the meetings and walk-in vote. The locals have posted locations and times for the vote on union bulletin boards.

I can’t believe there is no accountability or No (top heads off terminations) for holding up the Teamsters 14 BILLION dollar check being held up for almost a year. 1. The union negotiates the terms 2. all parties come to a agreement 3. UPS cuts the check. I would lose my job for significantly less infractions. The Teamsters top brass care about themselves the company (UPS) cares about shareholders and union members are left out to dry.

They need to redo the whole contract and respect the vote! HOFFA and Taylor better watch their backs! They both need to be in Federal Prison for selling out Teamsters! You’ve just painted a bullseye on your backs! YOUR TIME IS COMING TO AN END!

That’s good. At least they don’t have Pat Connors leading that supplement. Pat sold us out in Central PA. Our BA at 773 (Dennis Hower) tells us we got a good contract and Pat is a good guy. Hahahaha. Pat has sold the entire supplement out for years sad that Pat didn’t even let the Harrisburg BA on the committee. Might have something to do with the Harrisburg guy openly disagrees with King Pat. We also just heard the other day the 771 BA that has been on the Central Pa panel longer than King Pat removed himself from the Central Pa panel because he is upset because Pat continues to sell out members at panel and sold out the members with the new contract. Thank you King Pat for screwing us.
