One hundred and twenty Teamsters at US Foods are fighting for higher wages.

Earlier this year US Foods workers in Chicago Local 705 won major wage increases after three weeks on strike. Aggressive picket line extensions in 20 cities led to a union victory.

Less than 24 hours into the Local 542 strike, picket line extensions are up at other Southern California US Foods facilities.

US Foods Teamsters from Locals 63, 495, 630, and 848 have all honored the picket line. Pepsi Teamsters in Local 953 and Airgas Teamsters in 986 also honored the line.

The San Diego US Foods contract expired on March 31, 2024. Members have rejected four offers from the company.
