Chicago UPS Update

Contract negotiations will be held on Thursday and Friday in Chicago where 10,000 UPSers are covered by Local 705’s Local 705's contract which is entirely separate from the National Master Agreement.

43485805_10105801301996358_3730893328162488320_n.jpgIf UPS continues to dig in on its concessionary demands, Local 705 will reportedly hold a vote as soon as this weekend on giving UPS a 30-day notice to end the contract extension, raising the possibility of a strike at UPS in Chicago around Thanksgiving.
