Davey Grubbs Named to PBGC Advisory Committee

Davey Grubbs, a retired Teamster and long-time advocate to protect union pensions, has been appointed to the Advisory Committee of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC).

Brother Grubbs is the vice president of the National United Committees to Protect Pensions (NUCPP), the movement of Teamsters that won passage of the Butch Lewis Act in 2021, which protected the pensions of hundreds of thousands of Teamsters.

He was a founder and leader of the North Carolina committee as a retiree out of North Carolina Local 391.

Congratulations to Brother Grubbs! He will be a fierce and savvy advocate for the pensions of all workers.
