Members Approve New Contract at ABF

ABF Teamsters have voted to approve a new national contract at ABF, as well as 25 of 27 supplements. Today the Teamsters national negotiating committee and supplemental committees met with ABF and negotiated new tentative agreements for the Western Pickup & Delivery and the Southern Garage supplements. Members in those supplements will vote on revised TAs within the next week.

The new contract includes wage increases of $6.50 over the life of the contract, higher pension and health and welfare contributions, two more sick days, MLK Day as a paid holiday, and protections against technology, including cameras, autonomous vehicles, or shifting and other freight transportation without Teamster drivers/operators.

The national contract was approved in every region. Local-by-local breakdowns will be available soon.
