Chicago Public Radio: Hoffa Allies Oust 2 Chicagoans from Teamsters

May 18, 2010: The international Teamsters board has ousted two of its critics from the helm of a large local in Chicago. Teamsters Local 743 represents about 11,000 workers. Two years ago, Richard Berg and Gina Alvarez helped unseat local leaders eventually jailed on corruption charges.
