FreshDirect supervisors threaten pro-union employees with out-of-state move

July 29, 2010: The grocery delivery company FreshDirect is being accused of playing a high-stakes game of chicken with employees trying to organize a union.

Supervisors at the Long Island City, Queens, warehouse are threatening that the company will leave the city if workers vote to unionize.
