UPS Contract Proposal Deadline Set

July 13, 2012: The International Union has sent out a notice to Local Unions asking them to gather proposals from their memberships to prepare for bargaining with UPS and UPS Freight.

Local Unions must submit all UPS and UPS Freight contract proposals by August 31.

Negotiations will begin on the national contract in September as well as on supplements and riders that define regional and local language.

In the Central, Regional Package Director Dave Robinson asked Local Unions to prioritize members' top 10 non-economic and top-10 economic proposals.

Now's the time to get ready for your Local Union's proposal meeting and for members to spell out our bargaining priorities.
