UPS vote count coming in Central, Philadelphia, New York

October 8, 2013: The vote count on supplements for the Central Region, Philadelphia Local 623, Philadelphia Area Locals, and New York Local 804 starts Wednesday and may continue into Thursday.

TDU.org will post updated information and vote totals by local union as they come in and as reported by Teamster observers.

We have designated four rank and file observers: Scott Robbins of Local 215, Paul Trujillo of Local 651, Jumbo Daniels of Local 623 and Ron Venit of Local 623. We thank them for this important work, done on their own time and own dime, or with help from co-workers.

In addition, there are other observers who will be at the count center from Locals 413, 651, 100, 804, 326 and four from Local 89.

The ballots will be picked up at the post office at 9:30 am and again at Noon on Wednesday, then sorted and processed before counting starts Wednesday afternoon.

Count supervisor Ed Hartfield projects that the count will take two days to complete.
