NLRB Rejects Amazon's Case Against ALU-IBT

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has dismissed Amazon's attempt to void the Amazon Labor Union's victory in the vote for unionization at their giant JFK8 facility in New York.

The decision clears the way for the NLRB to issue a decision regarding Amazon's refusal to bargain with the union.

The Amazon Labor Union (ALU) won the representation election for the 5500 workers at the warehouse in March of 2022. Amazon has stalled and refused to bargain for over two years, hoping to drive the union out. The ALU affiliated with the Teamsters in June, and is now ALU-IBT Local 1.
