Join Sara Nelson at the TDU Convention

Sara Nelson, President of the Association of Flight Attendants, has been touring the country with IBT General President Sean O’Brien. Now they are teaming up to headline the TDU Convention, October 28-30 in Chicago. Register by October 1, to qualify for up to $50 in discounts.

The TDU Convention will feature more than 20 workshops and trainings, including: the Legal Rights of Union Stewards, Mock Grievance Hearings, Beating Apathy & Getting Members Involved, Running for Local Union Office, and Organizing Winning Contract Campaigns. 

Convention registration opens at 11 a.m. Friday, October 26. Convention workshops begin at at 1pm and end at 2:45pm on Sunday, October 28. The entire Convention will be held at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare.

Teamsters, Amazon delivery drivers, and labor allies picketed today on the steps of New York City Hall to support the Delivery Protection Act. City Councilmember Tiffany Cabán announced the bill now has supermajority support in the City Council.

Teamster History – As Told by those Who Made it Happen

The IBT has launched the Teamster History Project, which includes 27 unedited interviews with Teamsters who made it happen. It covers the years 1975-1999.  Those interviewed include several TDU leaders, participants in the Carey administration, James Hoffa, along with two Hoffa lieutenants who were expelled from the union for corruption and self-dealing.
