Tentative Agreement Reached at Anheuser-Busch

With a strike deadline looming, the Teamsters and Anheuser-Busch reached a tentative agreement on a new contract. The IBT reports that the new contract increases job security, raises wages by $8 an hour, including an immediate $4 an hour in the first year, ends two-tier healthcare, and increases pensions. Bud Teamsters will be able to review all contract changes before the ratification vote which is expected to be held next week.
