Tell Your Senator to Stop Devastating Pension Cuts

Workers and retirees are on the verge of a huge victory as part of the upcoming COVID-19 Relief Bill. But we’re not there yet.

The American Rescue Plan Act (also known as the COVID-19 Relief Bill) is on the floor of the Senate right now.

The bill, includes a provision named after a Teamster and TDU leader, that will protect 2.5 million workers from losing their pensions, including more than 400,000 Teamsters.

Anti-union lobbyists are lobbying furiously to strip the pension protections from the law before it is approved by the Senate. We can stop them, but we have to act RIGHT NOW.

The COVID-19 pandemic could cause up to 300 pension plans to go bankrupt, and put 2.5 million workers at risk of losing their retirement, including more than 400,000 Teamsters

We can’t let that happen.

Call your Senators at 833-738-0064.

The switchboard will connect you with the Senators from your state.

Tell them to stand up for workers and retirees by supporting for the Butch Lewis Emergency Pension Plan Relief Act of 2021 as part of the COVID-19 Relief Package.
