Western PA UPSers to Vote on Supplement

Teamsters working for UPS in Western Pennsylvania will vote for the third time this weekend on their supplemental agreement.

The supplement covers Teamster locals 30, 110, 249, 261, 397, 491, 538, 585, and 926.

A copy of the tentative agreement is here.

Votes are to be conducted in union halls or rented facilities over the weekend of April 6-7.

Members voted down the supplement decisively in the previous two ballots. The second rejection—96% No—was encouraged by the local unions, after UPS management reduced its offer regarding pension contributions.

Teamsters are encouraging co-workers to be sure to make time to review the supplement terms and to get out to the meetings and walk-in vote. The locals have posted locations and times for the vote on union bulletin boards.
