UPS Buys 130 Hybrid Trucks

October 5, 2010: UPS Inc. said it has purchased 130 hybrid electric vehicles, which the package carrier will launch into service next year.

Thirty of the package delivery trucks will be deployed in New York and New Jersey, and 100 will go to California, UPS said in a statement.
