October 6, 2011: Ballots mail out today to elect the next Teamster General President. Sandy Pope is the only candidate who can beat Hoffa and lead our union in a new direction.

How to Vote for Sandy Pope

Here’s how to cast your ballot for Sandy Pope:

  • Mark your ballot for the Independent Candidate, Sandy Pope. If you mark any slate oval you will cancel out your vote for Sandy Pope.
  • If you do not get a ballot by Oct. 12, call (877) 317-2011 to get a replacement mailed to your home. If you want to vote for candidates for lesser offices, you can do so by marking the oval next to their name. But do not mark any slate oval or you will cancel out your vote for Sandy Pope.

Teamster History – As Told by those Who Made it Happen

The IBT has launched the Teamster History Project, which includes 27 unedited interviews with Teamsters who made it happen. It covers the years 1975-1999.  Those interviewed include several TDU leaders, participants in the Carey administration, James Hoffa, along with two Hoffa lieutenants who were expelled from the union for corruption and self-dealing.
