Proposed Change for YRC and Holland

YRCW management has submitted a proposed change of operations to combine two very small Holland and YRC terminals in Northern Michigan. Affected Teamsters would dovetail into a Holland terminal operation, which would pick up and deliver YRC and Holland freight.

The company, in a meeting with stockholders and analysts in September, stated that they intend to close or merge 25 locations by the end of 2019. This change of operations could be the first of a number to be proposed in coming months. We need to be sure the contract is enforced and all jobs and seniority are protected.
