UPS and UPS Freight Ballots Will Be Mailed Next Week

The ballot materials for the UPS Freight contract and UPS package contract and all supplements will be mailed next week, between September 11 and September 14.   

This is now officially Peak Season for turning out a big NO vote! Download Vote No bulletins and order Vote No signs.

Ballots will be counted on October 5.  

Voting will be done electronically. The balloting materials will have instructions and a unique PIN which you will use to cast your secret ballot on-line or by phone.

If you do not receive your packet, or if you lose it, call your Local Union to ask for a replacement packet to be sent.

Who is eligible to Vote?

All Teamsters employed at UPS, including those off on comp or disability who may be temporarily on withdrawal card.  

UPSers who refused to join the union, especially in so-called right-to-work states are not eligible to vote.

The IBT has launched the Teamster History Project, which includes 27 unedited interviews with Teamsters who made it happen. It covers the years 1975-1999.  Those interviewed include several TDU leaders, participants in the Carey administration, James Hoffa, along with two Hoffa lieutenants who were expelled from the union for corruption and self-dealing.
