Teamster Election Dates Announced

The Election Supervisor announced that ballots for the International Union election will be mailed to every member on October 6. The ballots will be counted on Monday, November 14.

Teamster Strike Victory at the University of Minnesota

The largest strike in the Teamsters has ended in a decisive win for 1,400 Teamsters at the University of Minnesota. Hours after a massive strike rally and facing a deadline from Farm Aid that it would honor the picket lines and cancel a 50,000 person concert, the University administration surrendered. 

Following Strike Victory, Farm Aid 40 is On in Minnesota

UPDATE: After Teamsters at the University of Minnesota won their strike, Farm Aid has announced it will move forward with its concert and festival saying, "For four decades Farm Aid has stood with farmers and workers. Today's agreement is what can be achieved when people come together in the spirit of fairness and solidarity."
