Amazon Workers Turn to the Teamsters Following DHL Strike Win

A successful organizing drive and strike by 1,100 DHL workers at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) has inspired Amazon workers at a 4,500-person air hub across the street to turn to the Teamsters.

Amazon Labor Union-KCVG workers have voted to affiliate their organizing efforts with the Teamsters.

TDU members were on the ground for the DHL strike and are on the ground organizing Amazon workers as part of the Teamster Amazon organizing program.

An organizing win at KCVG would be a game-changer.

KCVG is Amazon’s largest air hub.

More than 90% of Amazon’s next-day volume passes through the facility. Amazon plans to nearly double the size of the facility in the next five years.
