International Vice President Rome Aloise has been hit with 122 pages of corruption charges, including racketeering, negotiating a sham labor contract and soliciting gifts from employers. Five hundred fifty Teamsters came together at TDU’s 50th TDU Convention to share strategies for building union power from the bottom up and to set our course for the coming year, including endorsing and helping to re-elect the O’Brien-Zuckerman Teamsters United Slate.
Members elected the 92 Teamsters United Slate to lead Teamsters Local 92 in Canton, Ohio. The election capped off a grassroots campaign that united members from UPS, Republic Services, Pepsi and other employers.
