Take Action Now to Move the Faster Labor Contracts Act
A bill championed by the Teamsters, the Faster Labor Contracts Act, has passed a vote in the House of Representatives. If passed in the Senate and signed into law, the law will require employers to bargain with organized workers within ten days of their voting to form their union. O’Brien-Zuckerman Teamsters United Elected
The O’Brien Zuckerman Teamsters United slate was elected today as our International Union leadership for the next five years. Congratulations to Sean O’Brien, Fred Zuckerman and the entire OZ Teamsters United team.
Nominated candidates must receive five percent of the vote from Convention Delegates to appear on the ballot in a one-member, one vote election. Only candidates from the OZ Teamsters United Slate met that threshold.
