The International Union has instructed every local union to gather proposals from members for the next UPS contract.

Teamsters United has launched a Contract Unity Pledge to send UPS and the International Union a message that members are fed up with harassment and contract givebacks.

Teamster volunteers are asking UPSers to sign a Contract Unity Pledge that says, “I will stand with Teamster members at UPS to defeat harassment and contract givebacks and win the contract we deserve.”

Chicago Teamster honcho John Coli has abruptly resigned as the Trustee of Local 710, just months before the trusteeship is slated to end in an election of officers. Nominations will be in September, and the election in October.

Most unionists know that double jeopardy (DJ) can be a powerful defense in the criminal courts – barring a defendant from being prosecuted twice for the same offense. Just ask OJ Simpson!

The Central States Pension Fund is in crisis. Time is running out while Hoffa plays PR games. The Teamsters Union needs to put its muscle behind a real plan to save our pensions for retirees and working Teamsters.

UPS Teamsters and others are showing solidarity with our fallen brothers, victims of a workplace shooting on June 14 at the San Francisco UPS hub. All funds, minus the costs of the wristbands, will go to the families. The wristbands are 10/$30 ($3 each - minimum donation $30). Retired Teamsters from the Midwest and the Northeast met with representatives of Senator Bernie Sanders’ staff as well as other Congressional Reps recently to review efforts in support of the Keep Our Pension Promises Act (KOPPA). In this video, some of these grassroots fighters, representative of our pension protection movement, offer their insight and inspiration.
