O’Brien-Zuckerman Teamsters United is proposing a series of constitutional amendments to increase the power of working Teamsters in our union. The Hoffa-backed Vairma-Herrera Slate has attacked these changes, setting up a showdown at the Teamster Convention in June.

Carhaulers will vote on a proposed national contract extension in mid-May by internet voting. The International Union is recommending a Yes vote, to extend the contract until May 31, 2022.

The International Union has made a tentative agreement for a one-year extension of the National Carhaul Contract. It will now go to the local officers for review, and then to the carhaul membership for a ratification vote.
