September 1, 2011: A campaign barbecue in St. Louis on August 28 drew nearly 200 Teamsters from a wide array of shops and crafts, and netted $4,000 for the campaign warchest. August 24, 2011: The IBT has filed objections to the recent vote of United Airlines and Continental fleet service workers. The International Association of Machinists won the vote narrowly (by 311 votes) over the IBT, to represent the 14,000 workers. The IBT statement is here. The official vote tally is availble here.
