UPSers joined an Teamster Day of Action on Martin Luther King Day calling on UPS to Deliver on the Dream. The day of action was the latest in our International Union's contract campaign of 340,000 Teamsters at UPS.

Members in Des Moines Local 90 have voted for new leadership and a new direction. Teamsters for Action activists campaigned for change at worksites across Iowa. They built a rank-and-file movement and today they won election with 80 percent of the vote.

Volume spikes on Amazon Prime Day and so do company profits. Management imposes forced overtime and turns a blind eye to safety problems.

Yellow has filed the expected massive change of operations documents to consolidate Holland and New Penn into Yellow across the Midwest, East and South. The proposed change would create 998 utility driver positions, and 35 new velocity distribution centers, as well as consolidate and reconfigure various terminals.

Members overwhelmingly elected new leadership in the 12,000-member Teamsters Local 135. Members turned out to vote for Dustin Roach and the 135 Members First Slate, who won with 68 percent of the vote. The election is a triumph for grassroots action and rank-and-file power, after an intense grassroots member-to-member campaign.
